Just got a glass tile backsplash installed in my kitchen last night and I HATE it...how long do I have to wait to rip out? Should I wait until the grout dries and cures? Has anyone had this happen to them?

Sorry to hear that you don't like it!!

The sooner you remove it the better----Back splashes are often set with mastic. It is water soluble
and takes several days to fully cure.

You may be lucky and scrape off the old mastic--then finish the job with soapy water and a green scrub pad---------Mike-------

Just curious,
what don't you like about it? Can you post a picture or two before you take the sledgehammer to it? Is it grouted yet? Sometimes tile doesn't look quite right until it is grouted. Your eyes are drawn to the gaps between the tiles, which usually have a contrasting look. Once grouted, the look can change drastically.
