Threshold for transition from new tile floor which is .6" higher than adjacent wood floor

What kind of threshold can I get or design to make this transition, especially since I am using a wheel chair? The doorway is off a hallway, so there is no space for a "running start"! This new, tiled floor was done by a professional.

Does the threshold need to extend OVER the tile, or can it just closely abut it?

A "real tile store" will sell vinyl reducer mouldings that will fit the purpose. They are available in several colors and thicknesses to accomodate most any typical situation. I'm surprised your tile installer would let that "tripper" go-by knowing there was a wheelchair involved.:)
