the ratio says 4 1/2 qts thin set to 1 1/2 qts of water, i need to divide by 3 and i cant fiqure it out. bad at math

1-1/2 Qt. to 1/2 qt.

4.5 devided X 3 = 1.5
1.5 devided X 3 = .5

Renda,

Where did you find that formula? Most bags I've seen tell you how much water to the 50Lb. bag, not by volume.
