Shower curb

Getting ready to set Travertine tile in a 3' x 4' stand up shower in my basement. The base is a Kerdi shower kit with curb. I'm looking for suggestions for the top of the curb. Can I get a 6" x 48" piece of travertine to cover the top? I'd rather not tile the top of the curb.
