questions about tile over insulation board

I'm looking into putting tile in my basement but want to try and avoid the tile being freezing. The standard answer seems to be that I should have 2 inches of XPS under the concrete. I can't change that so I'd like to try to put this down...

I'm curious if anyone has done this and if it impacts the longevity of the tile. I'm a bit concerned that since it's xps foam with a concrete mesh that it's a bit weaker and may lead to tile cracking easier. Has anyone has this experience?

Thanks in advance for any experiences.
