Proper Steps to completing my tile shower

Okay guys I am finally ready to start and finish this project. I have a fiberglass tub that I am tiling around up to the ceiling. I am not really sure of all the steps that need to be done from start to finish. Let me tell you what I have done so far and you can tell me the next steps. I have insulated between the studs 16" on center. I put a 5 mil vapor barrier over the insulation. I installed 1/2" durock over the vapor barrier. Now what. I think I am ready to install the fiberglass tape on the joints but please go on from there with mortar. Please give me details on the consistency of mortar for each step. Do I use the same mixture of mortar from the seams and joints as I do for the wall mortar to install the tiles. Also is there any waterproofing that needs to be done once the seems are mortared. Do I sand the mortar, damn there are so many steps. This shower will only be used about 1 time a week at most since it is in the basement and I already have 2 upstairs so this will be for family etc. So once a week is pretty generous. Thanks for you help.
