premixed motar?

fabian Member   Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 196	premixed motar? I was over a friends and seeing him do his tiles on his bathroom tub surround and floor as i will be doing mine next week. He was using premixed motar ready to go. is that stuff any good? if yes im thinking about getting it myself. when i was there it seemed to get the job done.

I'm sure everyone on this site will tell you that pre mixed mortar is not recommended for areas that can get wet.

That installation will only work in the best of conditions, but is a waste of money at best. Mastic will re-emulsify when it gets damp.
