premixed motar?

Do yourself a huge favor and don't use it. Your shower will last longer than your buddies. I'm sure everyone on this site will tell you that pre mixed mortar is not recommended for areas that can get wet.

premixed motar?

Fabian,

Don't make the same mistake your friend did. That installation will only work in the best of conditions, but is a waste of money at best. Mastic will re-emulsify when it gets damp. Should never be used on floors, it can be used on your kitchen backsplash however.
