Leave air on or off?

Hello

We're having our ceramic floors redone and my question is, when the workmen start digging up the floors with their machinery it's going to create alot of dust. Should we leave the air conditioning on or off during this process which could take 5 or 6 days to complete? We're going to seal off as many rooms as we can.
Thanks,

Peter

My personal opinion is to leave it off. I would also recommend blocking off the vents in the rooms that are not sealed off. This way you will help keep you duct work from building up dust and debris. If you must run it for comfort there are duct cleaning services that normally do a decent job at clearing out the build up in the duct work.

Good Luck with your project
