It must be a VERY light piece of glass, eh?

It is two pieces. The stationary piece is secured to the wall within metal tracks and the swinging door is hinged to the stationary piece. There is also a support bar that goes diagonally from the top of the glass over to the tile. The support bar is probably why they can get away with the plastic anchors.

This is the one I got: http://www.homedepot.com/p/DreamLine...0-04/204370837

Installing shower door on new tile - DIY job?

Ok, I was about to start drilling holes for this project when I realized that the threshold for the shower is not level. It pitches 1/8" per foot toward the shower basin. I suppose this is standard to allow water to flow back into the basin but now I am concerned that the glass for this door will not fit properly in the tracks since the bottom track will now be slightly off level. The instructions say it should be level or I could have serious problems with the install.

When contacted, the company says basically the same. Their tech told me I might be able to make it work but no guarantees. There may be enough play in the tracks to make it work but I don't want to get into this thing without a good plan. Can I shim up the track from the inside and just put a thick bead of caulk over the entire interior length of the track to cover that? See my last post for a link to the shower door to get an idea of the bottom track to which I am referring. If the thresholds are normally done like this, how is any door installed exactly level??!!

I think $150 is not a bad price. But it can add more value into your newly bedroom.

I am no expert, but there is a sweep under the door that should compensate for this. The slope of the threshold is suppose to just be 1/8th. You can go ask the experts over on johnbridge dot com.
