Installing new stone tile in my bathroom

Looks great. Beautiful stone. I did the kitchen backsplash with that type of stone in my last house. We sealed it twice before grout and twice after - it sure is porous. Good thing you did plenty of waterproofing before putting it on. Make sure you clean it often, you don't want stuff building up on that.

Installing new stone tile in my bathroom

I have finished the tile in the shower, and most of the bathroom. I have sealed the shower once, and plan on sealing it again prior to grout. Then I will reseal it again, probably twice. Ive been busy with work and school, so the bathroom renovation fell to the side. I have a nice sink and countertop for it, sitting in my family room.

Installing new stone tile in my bathroom

I had an off weekend between classes, no homework, so I put the tile down on the bathroom floor. I plan on finishing and painting the walls (drywall) next, and the put in the sink/countertop, and then the final course of tile at the bottom of the walls and around the sink/countertop.

Installing new stone tile in my bathroom

Looks good. I'd probably want to fill all the holes in the shower tile with grout, but it sounds like it's already sealed.

I love the look, but I can't imagine trying to clean soap scum out of each little tile hole lol.

Nice looking work, regardless.

Installing new stone tile in my bathroom

I have sealed it twice, the last time was about a month ago. It looks like it is wet, but it is not wet, it has been cured for weeks.
