How long to let thinset dry in joints before Redgard?
The title pretty much sums it up -- I plan to fill in the joints in the Hardiebacker, then apply RedGard, then apply the thinset and tiles.
Do you think I'll still need to wait 24 hours drying time for the thinset in the joints before I can apply the RedGard?
I'll also mention that it's in the 90's around here, (and no we don't have A/C) so maybe that'll speed things up? :)
You appear to have 3 threads going on this single tile project. It is best to keep all questions in one place so we can easily read the history of the project. In a few days some of the threads will disappear from view.
I'd allow overnight drying. Does it say anything on the label?
What label? There's a label???:)
