Help with drilling large holes in marble tile

Hi all,
I am about to embark on my bathroom renovation and need some advice. I am using 24"x24"x1/2" marble tiles to tile my countertop, and I need to drill holes through it for my sink and faucet. The sink requires a 1.75" hole and the faucet 1.4".
I've been trying to find the right size hole saw bits, but to no avail. The largest available at big box stores are 1 3/8".
Any advice?
Thanks!

You can use a diamond or carbide hole saw for that---call a real tile store--or mail order one.

google diamond hole saws--you will find plenty if you can wait for delivery.Ebay works too.

That's just the problem, I can't wait for one to be shipped. I need it in the next couple of days :(

And yes, there is a grainger, but they don't have the sizes I need. Ugh.

Your local tool or tile supply company should have them. Otherwise, measure carefully and have your local stone company drill the holes for you. Can always have the things overnighted and they will be in your hands manana.
