Grout question

This bathroom was recently redone before I bought the house, about 2 months in this starting happening in the corner(see picture)...any ideas why? I do have a lot vibration from upstairs due to my washing machine. That's what I'm thinking but I'm not sure.

Grout question

Tile should never be grouted where it changes direction. The grouts now all has to be cut out and be replaced with silicone caulking.
Any real tile store, even Home Depot and Lowes can get silicone both sanded and unsanded that will match your grout.

That's a HUGE crack! Doesn't look right to me. I hope everything is sound behind the tile...

Grout question

I had the same issue inside our bathroom shower after a recent remodel. The tile guys we had used grout in the corners instead of silicone caulk. I ended up just going to home depot and finding some sanded caulk that matches the the grout and caulking the cracks myself. It's held up well since then, no more cracking. That's a pretty big crack, though. Do you know who did the bathroom remodel? Might be worth it to have them come back out if possible.

Grout question

Corners should be caulked with color matched (to grout) caulking. BTW - The area doesn't require that it to be a sanded caulk.
