Grout or Caulking or both around bathtubs

Should grout, caulking, or both be used around bathtubs where they abut tile walls and floor ?

Silicone color to match your tile. Why silicone Around the tub? because the tub can flex slightly and crack the grout.

Jet Swet is correct--calk in all 'change of planes'--things move--grout doesn't--so a waterproof flexible caulk is the answer---Mike---

Unanimous. Every grout maker also has caulk to match their grouts both in color and texture. I think it's usually siliconized acrylic, use it.

Isn't the rule caulk any 90degree connections? (corners, trim to tile, etc)

No. The angle doesn't matter. You should caulk at all changes of plane and dissimilar substrates. You can sometimes get away with grouting inside corners if the structure is sturdy, but not very often. Always caulk around tubs and any other similar situations.
