fixing a tiny crack in a ceramic sink

One of our ceramic sinks has a hairline thick crack, about a foot long. I got some white porcelain chip fix (Homax), but that didn't seem to work very well. It left a whiter-than-the-sink trace, which actually made it more obvious.

Are there any other solutions?

I don't think there is any way to fix it so it's invisible. Replacing the sink is the only way to get it back to "new looking".

Well, it's not invisible, just tiny:

(how can I insert a pic?)

Replacing the whole sink seems a bit overkill to me?

You could have it professionally repaired by one of those guys that re-coats sinks but it would be less expensive just to replace the sink.

That looks like "impact" damage and the day could come when the whole thing just falls apart. Watch out for your toes.

Overkill or not, like Bud says, it's the cheaper way to go....
