Etched Black Marble issue

Hi Guy's, a customer of mine spilled lemonade on her stunning black marble tile in the kitchen, even though she quickly cleaned it up, it left dull splotches on 9-10 tiles. Is there a product or method I could use to help her out? The floor is only a year old.
Thanks Killdee

You must polish that --the surface is gone----there are marble polishing kits available--but the job is difficult without the right tools--see if you have a marble polishing service in your area.

A granite counter top company might also provide the service.

So would hand polishing it be a waste of time Mike? If so I might give my granite top guys a call. If I could help it at all by hand polishing or a buffer, can you recommend a product?

Thanks for the reply sir

Depending on the gloss it would take a series of grits ending somewhere around 3000 I think. The problem is going to be you can't just polish the bad places without doing the whole thing or divots will be created and show.

Call your granite guy---each grit needs its own bonnet for the buffer---the cost to do this once in your life is not worth it.

The worst one I heard of involved a well meaning cleaning lady that washed a new marble install with vinegar--that was my first introduction to the marble polishing company--20 years ago---
