Do you bother to caulk the edge of tile against a wall if a baseboard will cover it?

All interior walls, the baseboards are not yet installed - do you bother to caulk the perimeter of the floor where the tile meets the wall if a baseboard will be covering the space or just leave it open?

No need to unless it's a bathroom or laundry room.

My understanding is you want an expansion area. Leave it open
