Diagonal cutting 16" tile

I am laying new tile for in front of my fireplace and have run into an issue. I need to diagonal cut a 16" tile, but my cutter is only 20" so it will not get the job done. I only have 4 tile that need cut, so I do not want to spend more than probably $40 for a new cutter (if that, free is better). I could get new tile, that my cutter could handle, for the entire area for less than $40. Is there a way to cut the tile by hand, or are there any other tricks?

P.S. looked into renting a tile cutter from HD, but it was $50 a day so still cheaper to just replace the tile.

an angle grinder will cut tile, slowly and requires a very steady hand

Mark the tiles for cutting and take them to a tile store or call a tile installer to cut them for you. Take them to his current job for him.
