Deep Grout blues?

HI,
Has anyone used or heard anything about Keracaulk S Caulk from Mapei?

http://www.mapei.com/US-EN/product-d...62&IDLinea=102

It was reccomended by a friend... well because it matches my grout... but that alone is not good enough reason.
Thanks,

Deep Grout blues?

Almost finished. Need a screw for the shower handle and a curtain rod... and 24 hours for the Grout to dry. Used Color Rite's Sanded Caulk match for Mapei's Frost Grout #77. The colors were so so so close.

Now, Curved, double, straight, curtain rod? Hmmmm.

Next project 32"X60" shower in the big bathroom and a backsplash for the kitchen. Will try to keep it all on one thread this time.

Deep Grout blues?

Hi,
The shower is officially open for business. Walls and toilet... that is another matter. At least we don't have to drive to the YMCA to shower.

I hate grouting----It's just plane hard work--with no stopping until you are done---

Done well--no one notices it---done poorly and you just want to cry--

You did well--next time get someone to wring out the sponges for you--that helps a lot--Mike---

Deep Grout blues?

Here I am, taking my first shower... exhausted and as I looked up, it was as if I was in another place on this side of the shower curtain. A hotel resort where people go to relax. The clean lines and terrific tile. The openness afforded by the curved curtain rods really REALLY paid off. I started to feel as if I was more important just by being there. It was sooo nice like a vacation from the other side of the curtain. Then my eyes shifted from panoramic to close up... and as I saw the water bead up and roll over the grout it just filled me with a kind of pride as my eyes opened wide and as if in disbelieve - I thougth...I love this and I MADE this. (trying to put out of my mind I still have to finish the walls and the toilet, then I have shower and kitchen to go.) Even managed to muster a smile. I realize the pros do this all the time and that should not diminish their skill and efficiency. This is hard work and it requires persistence and attention to detail. This was a first for me, and I am happy to see that the end result and extra effort was worth every bit of pain and time. Thanks to all who have helped... There is no way in hell I could have accomplished this with out you.

Congrats on the nice job wraithe! I know exactly how you feel, and it's amazing how much work goes into everything (especially if you pay close attention to all the details etc).

When I was doing my kitchen backsplash, my muscles cramped in my arm from time to time from squeezing out the sponge, so I had to switch hands.. Tile work is definitely hard work.
