damaged mirrors

i have two mirrors in the bathroom where the reflective coating has worn away around the edges leaving just the see through glass. I need to put something around these mirrors to "frame" them and to cover up the problem but it needs to be subtle and not overwhelming. I had thought of gluing on ceramics as a border but not sure how to do this. Any ideas as to how to vamp up my bathroom mirrors? The bathroom is very small and needs to keep a feelng of light and airiness.

damaged mirrors

Forget the ceramic idea, it isn't at all practical. Keep in mind anything you apply will reflect the backside of the applique in the mirror. How about finding a carpenter to build a nice wooden frame for the mirrors?
