Corner bead

Hi,
I purposely left extra wall space at the end of the tile here, but It looks like i came up 1/4" short. I plan on using sheetrock paper faced metal corner beads. Hoping the tile will stick to it once it is adhered to the wall. Any suggestions? Note the black wall the tile is on is cementous Wedi board, but the purple gypsum board is the other side of the corner...

I figure maybe I can use the sikaflex (used to cover fasteners on the wedi) to stik the corner bead to the wedi, and then use the joint compound on the other side. then just thinset over it.?
