concrete sealing and tiling outside deck/roof

I have a outside 600 foot wrap around L shaped deck that is leaking water in cracks to the rooms below. We are putting 18 x 18 porcelain tile. THis is for an outside balcony that is over 3 rooms below. We have fine crack and when we pull up existing tile, we might find bigger ones. I have heard Redguard is the way to go. We will have to tile over whatever we choose to seal and waterproof the concrete deck. Do we have to use anything else for b igger cracks if we find them? Do you have any other advice.
One more question, What is the best way to get off old tile. We live in central florida so weather is impt too We get very humidly hot and have freezes in the winter. No snow tho

Thank you for any advice or products you can guide us to.
