Hi I am making a mini glass mosaic tiled ornamental table tray 12" X 12" and I need to match the color of the grout to the same as the room walls which is magnolia. I am considering to use 50% water & 50% magnolia emulsion to mix the grout, I think you have to look outside the Box as a DIY person, but everyone thinks I am mad. Anyway I have done a trial run on about 10 tiles and its gone off OK apart from some cracks in the grout which I think were caused because the tiles were sort of loose on a piece of flat timber. On the actual job which I have made from fibreglass the tiles are very secured in a bed of no nails. So I thing I shall go for it tomorrow & grout the 144 tiles in place with the emulsion added. Considering its just going to be an ornament sitting on a table I hope its going to be ok. Any comment or thoughts would be helpful.
