Best brand of sanded caulk?

I have a porcelain tiled shower and need to redo the light-tan sanded caulk...the old sanded caulk seemed to disappear with use/cleaning.

Is there a particular brand that is best?

Any ideas why the old caulk disappeared?

How long should the caulk dry before using the shower? Maybe we used it too soon. I can't remember how long we let it dry the first time but I would say only a day or two.

Thanks in advance.
Mary
