bathroom tiling

I had a new tub installed and new tiling done in my bathroom. The tub and the green board did not meet, the tub was about 1/2 inch away from the wall/green board. The contractor tiled the wall and the first row of tiles on the tub are very cooked and angled so there is more that 1/4 inch slant on the first row of tiles. I need to retile and set the tiles straight so I may install my shower doors. Question - what do I need to do, after removing the tiles, so my tiles are straight and I may install my shower doors?

Scuba suggested he/she bring the question to the tile section. Perhaps a mod could merge the threads for us.

Anyhow... no easy fix there. I would take all the tile down and start over. And NO drywall of any kind. Your "contractor" should be responsible for this repair.

Good luck and let us know how it works out.
