bathroom remodle, tile on wall paint on cieling.


top inside corner where the back wall and the cieling meet, greenboard at top and hardi going up the wall ? taping that corner do I use corner tape or the hardi tap, do I use thinset or mud. Thank you

if you are tiling up to the ceiling you don't need to tape it, just caulk the gap between the tile and ceiling.

So theres no reson to tie the walls together, the calking is plenty, some people are saying to use a set mud like a 20 or 45 mix for those areas. That it's a harder mud that the moisture will not penatrate in to it.
