3 different height mosaic tiles in one mosaic

is there a technique to grouting different height tiles as I am putting different colour grout for all the different heights. . The side angle of the heighest one I thought I might have to paint as it will run into the different color, masking tape???? Please help me

Try grouting them at different times. It doesn't matter which one you grout first, the higher tile or the lower one, but make sure that you wipe away any unwanted grout from the tile you don't want with that color, and make it clean looking. Then when that grout dries and gets hard, grout the other tile. That way whatever grout gets on the other color, you can just wipe it back off.
