Whcih one first

I am tiling a shower and the floor will be polished stone and tiling the walls to meet the floor. Should I put the floor in first or the walls. If I put in the floor first I am thinking I have to cover it with a canvas drop cloth and possibly plywood over the drop cloth as I tile the walls.

I usually do the walls first--leaving out the bottom tile---I add a temporary wood ledger to support the wall tile---

I them remove the ledger--patch any holes--tile the floor--then add the bottom cut tiles for the wall.

I hate working on top of ungrouted mosaic floor tiles--
