Will silicone caulk stick when applied over silicone caulk. Just put silicone caulk on our new ceramic tiled shower. However, the contractor used almond colored instead of tan. Can the tan silicone be applied over the almond colored caulk. No water has been run as of yet so it is still new.

Silocone is not a caulk. Get rid of it and use a real material. Some silocone in it is fone.
