Vanity counter top question on Bath remodel

I'm in the process of remodeling our master bathroom and have located a great deal on a double vanity at Costco! The only problem is that the vanity is made to go against a wall with it open on both ends of vanity, but in our bathroom it would go against wall. The vanity doesn't come with side splash and its granite and would not be able to match it to try to have one made. I've been told could just put edge of counter top that is rolled into wall and then sheet rocked down to it to make it look like just ends into wall. Any ideas? Do you have to have side splash?

Vanity counter top question on Bath remodel

If it has a rolled edge on the side that touches the wall---that could be cut off---That would be the best look. A granite shop might not charge to much to do that.

You could cut that yourself with a 4 inch angle grinder and a diamond blade--
I don't recommend that you try that, however. A little practice is involved to get the feel for the tool.

You could wreck the top learning the 'Feel"--Mike--

You don't need to have side splashes. Just caulk the top/wall interface.
