I just remodeled my bathroom and the only thing that dosen't match is the shower handles. The handles I currently have are the clear dixie cup looking knobs. I've shopped around at home depot /lowes and can't seem to find any shower handles. I don't mind buying the whole handle set, faucet body, but do I really need to tear the wall down and replace the shower faucet body or can I just buy the correct valve bodies to work with the handles? I find it hard to believe that no one makes 2 handle replacements to fit the older faucet bodies. Below is a link to a handle setup I would like to use but I'm wondering if I can just use the handles. Will they fit?? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,
The hard part is matching the broach on the valvestem handles. The teeth cut on the end. They are all different. Danco makes a variety of interchange faucet parts, check their display at home stores. They usually have a line of broach samples, find the one you have and see what is available.
