toilet is grouted to floor


bought a backup pad and discs to attache to drill. shaft is to short. now what

What are you trying to do? If you trying to unstick a toilet from the flooring because it was grouted in place I see no way a sanding pad is going to do anything for you.
I'd be using my ossilating saw and a diamond grit blade.
