tiling - difference in thickness. glass tile vs porcelain

I'm just about ready to tile my shower, but i have a small problem. My porcelain tile is about 1/4" thick and the glass accent tile is only about 1/8" thick. any suggestions on how to make up the difference in thickness?

I use strips of thin white plastic--FRP board to be exact--One the the "pros" will undoubtably have an opinion on that!

It works for me.--Mike--

None of the thinsets used today are recommended for use with plastic anything. They won't reliably stick to plastic. So...not the best idea!:)

You can comb a little thinset on the back of the glass and let it dry. Then sand it off to the needed thickness. You can apply some thinset to the wall and let it dry, then sand it off to the desired thickness. Glass tiles may require special thinsets and that information should come from the glass tile maker.

There are other ways to accomplish this also but you wouldn't readily have access to the products to do it with.:)
