stipple in bathroom...?


my bf and i are going back and forth "who is right"... do you stipple a bathroom ceiling if you have an open tile shower? whats the best for possible mold/water damage control....?

Sorry,I'm not sure what you mean by 'stipple' are you talking about a texture?

sorry, i guess its called popcorn texture.... rather then a flat.

That is just a matter of personal taste and regional popularity.

It's very uncommon here in northern Illinois----As a remodeler I hate it--whenever it's damaged the repair is very difficult.

i agree, flat is a cleaner look and easy to rub clean if ever water does get up there.... thank you

With the proper bath fan, you won't have mold on the ceiling, whatever texture it is.
