Silicone caulk removal

How do I completely remove clear, silicone caulk from glass block? I have a lot of it that was once glued together with caulk and I want to salvage it to reuse.

Silicone caulk removal

If you have a bench grinder with a brass wire wheel, that is the easiest way. Otherwise, steel wool a razor knife and some elbow grease.

Chemicals like Acetone may cut any film left by the silicone but it won't dissolve the bulk silicone.
