Shower Window Sill

The problem is that the PO left it horizontal. It should have sloped down somewhat. I don't know what your best solution is there. One thing that comes to my mind is possibly you could silicone down a solid piece of surface material over the top of those tiles in the window sill. Even if it is still flat, there would be less risk of water intrusion. Or, you can towel this area dry after showers. Short of getting into some retile work, those are the best solutions I can come up with.

Jims solution sounds good--Solid surface materials like Corian can be worked with ordinary woodworking tools.

Getting some pitch in that area might mean removing the cap tiles or beveling the Corian on the back side.

Agree with Jim. Always use solid materials for sills and for the tops of shower bases. Anything else is not quality workmanship while remodeling a bathroom.
