shower wall corners
tiling a shower wall. if i tile one wall with tile, do i set that tile all the way to the end of the wall or do i leave a gap (1/8) in. or do i keep it against the wall then on the wall next to it, do i set that tile to where it is flat against the tile onthe wall tiled already? or do i just make sure that tiles have a 1/8 gap between them?:huh:then grout or caulk?

Looking at my shower, I have the 1/8 gap. Also after looking at some pictures on here it looks like they have the gap as well. Now that is not saying it is correct. It just what I have and have seen. There a few guys on here that should be able to give a "yes or no" answer. umm-hmmm mike or bud :-)

Not an expert, but when I tiled my shower I left 1/8" for expansion. Any time you have a change of plane, where one wall meets another or wall meets floor, you should caulk.
