Shower tear down

I have a shower in my second floor bathroom. I want to tear down the shower and close off all the drains connected. I have another bathtub shower combo in the same bathroom and have no need for this stand up shower. Is it an easy job or should I get a professional?

Shower tear down

Post a picture if you can---the tear our should not be to bad---but you may need plumbing skills to remove the mixer valve and remove the pan and drain set.

Pictures---or a good description of the existing shower.

You can do it, it's not hard, but why would you take something that adds value to the house and remove it?

That would be my question.
