Securing kitchen island to floor with cabinet levellers
After waiting 7 months (delays at the manufacturer), I finally received delivery of my new custom kitchen island cabinets.
When looking at the included hardware, it looks like they sent me a bunch of cabinet levellers and clips for the toe kick. The island is roughly 9x4 and will have a small prep sink and electrical for an 24" beverage centre and the mandatory GFCI plugs.
I'm thinking of calling a kitchen installer (time vs money vs experience), but I'd like to do a bit of research before I get to that point.
I get how to install levellers and the toe kick, but how do I secure the island to the tiled floor? With plubming and electrical coming into play, I don't think the eventual quartz countertop will be heavy enough to "hold it down".
Secondly, how far back from the edge of the cabinet should I install the levellers?
