Reglazing the tub - when to do it

I'm remodeling the bathroom and I have decided to have my cast iron tub reglazed (by a pro and w/ a warranty of course) I like the tub except for the fact that it is yellow!

I'm laying some new tile in the shower and on the floor. Should I have them come and reglaze it after the demo but before I put in the new tile, or should I install the new tile/fixtures first, and then have the reglazing done. The tub guy I'm using said I should have him come last but I wonder if I run the risk of him somehow ruining my new tile. I know the other way I run the risk of dropping a tile or something and ruining the reglaze job also. Opinions?

Reglazing the tub - when to do it

Do the tile work first but don't caulk the new work.

Tub re-glazing is the last thing done--the finish is soft and easily damaged--so let that be the last item to complete the bathroom.---Mike----
