Priming underside of countertop over dishwasher sufficient?
I've read that one can prime the underside of a laminate countertop where it sits over the dishwasher. Is that sufficient to keep out the moisture? I didn't know primer alone could do that.

Zinser makes a primer/sealer, but I would not put all my faith in that. Warm, moist heat can dissolve nearly everything, over time. Add a couple coats of marine poly.

Priming underside of countertop over dishwasher sufficient?
I have a ...... heck I don't know how to describe it. A giant "sticker" on the underside of my butcher block countertop. It looks like an aluminum sheet.
