I have not used it but do not waste your money. It looks like an epoxy finish which might be alright if you never plan to use it. There is no way a coating of any kind is going to give you the durability, chip and heat resistance, and performance you need in a kitchen countertop material. This solution would be temporary at best and near completely cosmetic. Maybe for a bathroom but I would not be hopeful.
Overlay concepts like those at the link sound intriguing and worth looking into I suppose. I have no personal experience with them though as most of my projects require new countertop materials. I seem to be using a lot of recycled glass and concrete with integrated sinks and so forth countertops but they run about the same as granite. Beautiful though.
