Kitchen Sink Delimma..

My cabinets are in and I am looking for counter top and a sink. I think I have pretty much finalized on a Quartz countertop from Home depot.

My delimma is with the Kitchen sink. I need undermount (100%) no other options.

I want to go for Blanco's:

The issue is I have a 33" sink base .

I gave up on the double sink as it is 33" wide, so undermount is out of the question.

The single sink Blanco is 32" wide, and I am thinking that it should fit but there is nothing on the web that can tell me why Blanco wants a 36" base for it.

I love the sink and dont want to give up trying to fit this. Is there any way I can put this undermount?

a 33 inch cabinet is 33 inches at the face of the cabinet. the ends are back about 3/16 from the end and the end takes up another 1/2 inch so the inside measurement of a 33 inch cabinet is at most 31-5/8. i had a 36 inch cabinet and my wife decided on a stainless steel apron sink. she wanted a 36 but i talked her into a 33 because with a 36 i would have had to cut both ends of the cabinet off and would have had no support for the counter top. that's why they want you to have a 36 inch cabinet. we went with a 33 inch single bowl. the only thing that gets washed in our sink are things that don't fit in the dishwasher. looking at the spec sheets it looks like either one would fit inside a 33 inch cabinet but would be tight. do you have the cabinet? buy the sink and see if it fits, return it if it doesn't.

Yeah that is what I am doing. I bought the cascade and also spoke to a stone fabricator. They told me that they will cut the sides of the cabinet to fit the sink in. we are only 1/2" wider than the cabinet as per the specs.

I have placed the order for the sink. I will dry fit it once it comes. Fingers crossed.

from the sink specs i looked at they shouldnt have to cut much off of the cabinet, maybe 1/4 inch where the flange will set if they even have to cut it at all. the bowl part of either sink will fit between the ends of the cabinet according to the spec sheet.
