Kitchen remodel

I am going to sand and stain cabinets. New floor and new countertops. This might be a dumb question but is there a specific order those projects need to go in

They could technically be done in any order. But if it were me, I'd do the cabinets, then the countertops, then the floor.

start at the top and use painters tape and painters plastic between each step until at the floor..

Kind of depends on how you work.

You didn't mention painting but get the ceiling out of the way first. I would do walls last.

There is something to be said for refinishing your cabinets first but if you are not always gentle of touch and could ding them installing flooring or countertops you might at least hold off on your protective coats over the stain for last task.

If there is any chance you have to raise your cabinets to accommodate thicker flooring, you should obviously do the flooring first and then protect it.

Floor last....that way you don't care what happens to the existing floor....

Counter tops just before you do the floor....

Everything else before that...

One piece of advice....put down a chunk of old carpet where you are doing the sanding....the dust and dirt will be worse than you think....the carpet piece will 'help' catch some of the dust and dirt.....

If possible, try to remove the cabinets and take them outside....

id do the cabinets first so you dont get stain on your countertop, and do floors last so you dont mess them up with stain or debris

cabinets first, counter-top second, and go floor last.
