I've never seen trays used on a lazy susan, do you mean shelves?
The doors get attached to the stiles not the shelves.
A picture would sure help.
Two piece or one piece door?
What style hindges?

Is this one of the lazy susans with the round shelves that look like a pie with one slice missing?

If so--use 3M double face sticky tape--

The shelves are like a pie with one piece missing. the old ones were attached with screws through the shelves into the back of the door.
