Question

Installing Walls on Bathroom Remodel

3rd floor bedroom, tore down 2 interior walls to expand in 2 directions. Floor is cement.
Should the floor be measured for levelness before beginning to put up new framing for the walls?

Why? Worse case scenario you need to cut the studs different lengths.

yup. just as he said or cut them all the same but go with the shortest length. just use longer nails or screws so teh top plate gets properly fastened to the ceiling. but only if its a partition. if its a bearing wall the studs will have to be precise

Yes, it would be much easier to level the floor now rather than later.
