Installing sliding shower doors on a bath tub

Hi there,

Just wondering how I lay the base track for shower sliding doors on the edge of a tub that's curved? All the tips I have read or viewed all show them installing the bottom track on a flat tiled surface for walk in showers so just wondering solutions to install that bottom track on the curved edge of a bath tub.

Thanks a lot

Installing sliding shower doors on a bath tub

Without a picture it's hard to say.
No way to install a straight bottom rail on a curved tub if it's curved enough that the rail hangs over the front or back of the tub.

Notice your post is a few weeks old so you probably are past the need for help, but just in case:
Assuming the tub is made of a material you can drill or screw or drill & tap into, I'd buy a piece of aluminum shaped like [__] and face it down onto the tub rail, giving you a flat rail/floor to mount on. Put caulk under it, and screw the door rail to and through the thing.
