I need to put vinyle tile on my wall but i cant because the wall is a mess


I took down old tile off the wall and now it is so rough with the clue or
whatever they put it up with I cant get it off . How do I FIX MY WALL.

That depends. What was the wall made of? I'm assuming drywall since you pulled some off. A picture really does help. If it is just drywall and it is in an area that isn't exposed to water then a top coat of drywall compound should work fine. I'm not sure if that is exactly what it is called but I'm sure some drywall experts will be along to correct me.

Please post a picture when you can though.

May be faster and less dust to just remove it and replace with new drywall fo a perfectly flat surface.
