How to remove cement from old tiles

guzzigc Newbie   Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 1	How to remove cement from old tiles I have just removed 50+ year-old tiles from a bathroom wall, and would like to re-use some of them. How do I remove the cement from the backs of the tiles? I've tried chipping away, but this could take forever, and I'm breaking tiles in the process.

The only way i can think of that might work would be an angle grinder with concrete blade on it. It's going to take a long time and be really dusty. Better grab a snickers.
