How do I tile around the toilet waste?

The toilet in installed in our bathroom, with the waste pipe correctly running horizontally into the boxing behind. How do I tile around this circular pipe ie is there some way of making a template that I can transfer onto the ceramic tile before I cut it?

Yes, You can always make templates out of paper or cardboard. You can even cut pieces out the size of your tiles so after you trim with scissors or razor knife you can lay it on the ceramic and line it up just the same so you can draw the line and cut/and nibble the curve. I have always just cut the closest straight line then worked slowly with the nibbler until I achieve the curve / shape I am going for.
